Tersia en Renier Married!

Tersia and Renier got married at the beautiful Cabrieres in Montagu.  They are two of the most genuine people I know and it was really special for me to be a part of their wedding day.  Loved, loved, loved Tersia's dress!  I have to make a special mention of Cabrieres. This was one of my favourite venues yet.  It is beautiful and Jane who is in charge of the wedding co-ordination is an absolute joy to work with and so welcoming.  Check out this amazing video that Wynand van Wyk made of the venue and the wedding.

Thank you to Alitha, who came on the little road trip with me and for all your help.  She herself is a very talented photographer!

Marelie & Andre's Wedding @ Kleinevalleij

Marelie het al haar dekor self beplan, aangekoop, gemaak en haar tafels pragtig uitgelê.    Sy het besluit om haar tema rondom proteas en fynbos te bou en het met verskeie kleure en teksture rondgespeel om 'n klassieke maar vrolike en warm atmosfeer te skep.  Dit alles het sy vanaf Johannesburg gereël!  Die dag self was pragtig en al het ons son, wind en reënweer gehad, kon ons die fotosessie afsluit met 'n pragtige reënboog.  Dan 'n spesiale dankie aan die talentvolle Estie Thirion wat die 2de fotograaf was op die dag.

Elana and Werner Married! {Kronenburg,Paarl}

Elana and Werner got married on a glorious sunny winter's day in Paarl.  Wishing the two of you many happy and blessed years together as Mr and Mrs Nel!

Erna and Riaan's Winter Wedding @ Molenvliet

I actually can't write this post without it being personal.  Erna and I used to work together, before I became a full time photographer.  For the past ten years that we have known each other, we have laughed together, cried together and most importantly prayed for each other.  One of our many prayers answered came in the form of Riaan.  :)  

It was a wonderful winter wedding celebration! 

She's Russian, He's South African...

and they met in the Seychelles!

I haven't blogged in quite some time and have so much to share!  Not going into all the boring details of why I have been so quiet on my blog (life happens)  but I have posted little updates on my facebook page over the last couple of months, so if you want to know what I have been posting, go have a look.

Christiaan and Alena's wedding was probably one of my favourite weddings this past season.  The decor was elegant, the setting was gorgeous, there were both Russian (vodka) and South African (biltong) elements represented, Alena is so beautiful and Christiaan looked fantastic, but what it came down to for me was the amazing vibe at this wedding.  There were so many moments, so much fun, so much laughter and I loved every minute of being there.  Tatiana played some authentic Russian games with the couple and some of the guests. She acted like a proper games show host!  

Thank you for trusting me 100% with photographing your wedding.  I cannot tell you how inspiring that is for me as a photographer to know that my clients love what I do and trust me wholeheartedly.
